MCL Data Solutions ranges of fibre street cabinets can accommodate passive and active equipment and can be configured for pure fibre or a combination of copper-fibre and for spliced, cross-connect and splitter applications to serve customer-specific needs.
The outdoor roadside cabinets are either metal or plastic enclosures, which serve as distribution/access points between the distribution fibre and the drop fibre to the subscriber. These are usually located to allow for relatively easy and rapid access to the fibre circuits and are capable of handling larger capacities than fibre joint closures.
Our range of street cabinets are ideal to store PON splitters, which also require flexible connectivity to subscriber-dedicated fibres. Street cabinets are also used in point-to-point network architectures.
An important factor in the roll-out of new networks is speed. We can in house pre-stubbed and terminated the cabinets. The street cabinets can be combined with plug-and-play PON splitters, which can be installed as and when required without the need for further field splicing. These cabinets are assembled in the factory and tested prior to delivery.
IP65 Fibre FTTX Splice and Patch Outdoor Cabinet - Advanced optical fibre networks using Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multi point architrectures, requires high density fibre distribution points to supply FFTX services to the customers. High-quality fibre optic connectivity reilies on the increased protection offered by weather-proof outdoor cabinets. Fibre splice and patch applications, FTTX distribution hubs, Applications for Passive Optical Networks (PON) and Optical AccessNetworks (OAN) as a distribution point to network terminations for hybrid access technology (fibre/copper) as an Optical Node Unit (ONU).
Fibre Optic FTTX Street Cabinet - Outside plant fibre distribution cabinet. FTTX enclosures are designed to protect and manage fibre optic cable for broadband delivery in outdoor applications. Canavote fibre street cabinet provides an environmentally secure high density fibre distribution points to supply FTTX services to the customers. It is well suited for different FTTx and PON network applications. Each enclosure consists of superior cable management in order to prevent the possibility of minimum bend radius violations.
FTTX Polycarbonate Cabinet - Canovate FTTX Polycarbonate street cabinet is a perfect solution for outdoor fibre connection and distribution applications. Special glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate structure makes this cabinet an ideal solution for cross-connect applications. The structure is the perfect combination of low weight and high mechanical strength and its functional design gives extra advantages both for installation and cable management. Ideal for Fibre Cross-connect applications, FTTX distribution hubs, Applications for Passive Optical Networks (PON) and Optical Access Networks (OAN) as a distribution point to network terminations for hybrid access technology (fibre/copper) as an Optical Node Unit (ONU).
Outdoor Fibre Distribution Terminal Cabinet - Motor hood single front door Fibre Distribution Terminal cabinet, for high density fibre distribution points to supply FFTX services to the customers. The cabinet has the functions of optical fibre cable splice, distribution, splitter holding, storage and dispatch. With increased protection offered by weatherproof outdoor cabinets. The protection grade reaches IP55.

Improve your CCTV - Use optic fibre cable instead of copper cables for better picture quality and no signal interference.
Optic fibre cable used in CCTV transmission has been slower to take hold than its use in other telecommunications and data markets. Traditionally copper cable was used because of the need to keep CCTV component costs down, but with the increased use of CCTV systems, especially in town centres, in the 1990s, a new way of transmitting images across large areas without image degradation was needed.
Fibre optic cable CCTV has many benefits over copper cabling
Fibre optics cable in CCTV means that you can connect hundreds of cameras, recording equipment and a central monitoring station across vast areas, while maintaining near-perfect image quality.
Because fibre optic cables emit light pulses rather than electrical pulses they are not subject to interference from railway lines, tramways, power stations and other sites that traditionally have interrupted or distorted the transmission of CCTV data.
By installing fibre optic CCTV cables instead of copper cables, you are also future-proofing your CCTV system, as the ability to add more cameras and more equipment to the system is easier with the fibre optic transmission method with use of media converters.
We can also provide specialist cable solution like:
Hybrid cable (fiber optic, electrical)
