Introducing the newest member of our team

After graduating from Durham University with a BSc in Pure & Applied Mathematics and Physics, (not sure how I did that, its all a bit of a blur now due to the hectic social life readily available in the North East) I then spent over  15 years  within the IT and Telecommunications industry, both in the UK and on a global level.

Previously I have worked at ITS Technologies as Group Sales Director, i3 International (Part of the i3 Group) as European Commercial Director, breaking i3 into Europe.  I have also worked for several large FTSI 250 companies including Steria and Getronics and more recently, I worked for a German Unified Communications Software Vendor as the Corporate Development Director, bringing new technologies to the UK and creating markets for international organisations wishing to break into the UK.
Having lived for  many years abroad, both for businesws and pleasure, I have gained a deep understanding of International market drivers and trends, and new technologies which are likely to break into the UK.

I live on the rural borders of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk and enjoy country life, which covers a multitude of sins. I love Sunday morning coffee listening to the birds singing and the owls hooting and taking photographs of all kinds of wildlife ( not sure if that makes me an early riser or late to bed these days)
When not enjoying the East Anglian wilderness, I compete in motorsports events, predominantly Drifting events UK wide (that’s why people don’t let me drive them around on the roads).  I have started a collection of BMWs ranging from 1973 to 1990 and I am hoping to add more to my collection. I also love  cricket, I have been to many international cricket games (with my cooler box) and I am hoping to catch some of the Indian Premier League Games in 2013 when I visit there.
It’s not all adrenaline though, I do enjoy UK and foreign travel, languages and international culture, and retro 60s and 70s rock music. I enjoy Tango dancing and to wind down, I’m not adverse to 70s disco dancing complete with platform boots and big hair!
