J Schneider capacitor DC buffer module Power supply UPS
Voltage drops are a common problem in industrial and commercial environments. They occur with greater frequency since power–distribution systems are becoming increasingly more complex. Voltage fluctuations have considerable consequences: Production processes are interrupted, machines stop working, systems have to be reconfigured. All this costs time and money. In the worst case scenario a system breakdown can cause data loss and failure of machines and systems.
The J Schneider DC-buffer module of the series C-TEC works with ultra capacitors as energy storage inside the housing. These capacitors are charged by an external regulated DC power supply in normal operation. In case of an interruption of the DC-supply, the energy of the Ultra capacitors is released. The load is now supplied by the buffer module till it is discharged. The back-up time depends on the state of charge of the capacitors and on the discharge current.
With C-TEC offers a new product portfolio of buffer modules. They are equipped with integrated ultra capacitors instead of using lead batteries as conventional uninterruptible power systems (UPS) do. This makes them maintenance free. As C-TEC does not require changing batteries it provides an economic benefit.
lifetime maintenance-free – low operating costs
cost -efficient – no extra costs respectively no change of batteries
system flexibility for your individual applications
long buffer time C-TEC Cap Ultra single module
longer buffer time with extension module
longer buffer time due to cascading
longer buffer time due to selective protection of the most critical consumers
safe, intelligent shut-down of industrial PCs
avoids data loss due to destruction
prevents damages to PLC/PC, machines and installation

Fibre Ducting in Data Centers
Data Center Solutions
Warren & Brown have developed a range of products and solutions that are ideal for data center applications. Warren & Brown are committed to working with our customers in order to tailor and implement the ideal solution for your business.Warren & Brown's optic fiber cable management products are used in data centers around the world. Exactly how important is cabling infrastructure?
Consider these factors:- Physical cable infrastructure is estimated at approx. 3% of the Data Center cost which is a relatively low cost
- As much as 50% of the network problems are related to an inadequate or underperforming cabling infrastructure
- Lifetime for the cabling infrastructure is relatively high >10 years
What implications does poor cable management have?
- Bad access to cable ducting
- Uncontrolled routing of cables
- Frequent opening of floor tiles
- Introducing overlength
- Deleting Redundancy
- Loss of bandwidth
- No network Integrity!
Lightpaths halogen free ducting meets EEU-ROHS requirements and also meets UL2024A standard.
For further information please visit our ducting products section of the website or contact your local lightpaths sales office.
